Aimee and Chinedu
They found each other in the fall of 2020...
in the thick of a world that had gone quiet — and somehow, so had they. Both were ready, even if they didn't know it yet.
She noticed his warmth first. He noticed her long before she noticed him.
Their first date — A cool December night, Gypsy Kitchen in Atlanta, a henley, eyes that made him feel warm and at home — felt like a sacred kind of familiarity, as though their paths had been guided there all along.
What followed required courage neither had anticipated. A new city. Demanding careers. Years of distance bridged by devotion, early mornings, and the kind of love that shows up even when it isn't convenient. They held each other through grief. They challenged each other through growth. They learned, slowly and intentionally, how to be whole on their own while building something whole together.
They complement each other, but they hold up the mirror too — even when it's hard. Two people, fully formed, rooted in faith, choosing to grow in the same direction. Theirs is a love they believe was ordained long before they found the words for it.
By 2026, after years of flights and phone calls and choosing each other across every kind of distance, they arrived — together, fully, in Las Vegas. The same city. The same chapter. Finally.
Six years of love, authored by God, distilled into one word: enduring.

Igba Nkwu
Rooted in heritage and anchored in community, the Igbo traditional wedding — known as Igba Nkwu,( meaning "wine-carrying") — symbolizes the union of two families through their children the groom and the bride. The traditional wedding process culminates in the Igba Nkwu, where the bride carries a cup of palm wine to search and find her groom among guests. When she finds her groom, she offers him the wine and the groom accepts and drinks the wine, symbolizing their union.
The Traditional wedding is a culturally recognized marriage and is integrated into the Christian practice.
Igba Nkwu is a celebration of identity, love, and the union of family.
To honor the tradition and beauty of Igba Nkwu, we kindly invite our guests to wear “trad” — traditional Nigerian attire that unites our families and celebrates this joyous occasion together. If you prefer, formal attire is also warmly welcome.
